yes,my dad wanted me to move to Mexico with him. I just talk to him and told him i didn't want to go because i would miss my mom,family and friends. I also didn't want to go because i speak little Spanish and i would feel out of place.I thought he would be mad but he actually understood why i didn't want to go.I still go visit him over the summer.

The relationship between Forester and Jamal is unusual because at first Forester is mean to Jamal but he still helps him with his writing after he told Jamal to write an essay about how he shouldn't break into anyones house . Forester knows Jamal is a good writer. I think Forester love Jamal because he did something he wouldn't do for any other person. He leaves his house to prove Jamal didn't steal his story . He also when he dies gives Jamal all his books .

The authors purpose is to show how much he cared about his childhood and the people in it . He also cared about his childhood hangout spot, it was very important to him .He wanted to show us that malls and other stores affect the environment when they are built . he also wanted to show that memories last forever.
